What a night looks like
If you're thinking about coming, here's what a typical night at Alpha feels like.

A welcoming atmosphere
Jesus always met people right where they were, and that's the heart of Alpha. It's a safe, welcoming space to ask real questions and explore them together, where your honest thoughts are always valued. Every gathering starts with refreshments, so you get to know people while you're at it.

A judgment-free conversation
Each week we watch a short video on one big question, then open it up for conversation. Ask anything, whether or not it connects to the video. Every question is welcome, no matter where you're starting from, and there's zero pressure to land anywhere in particular.

Talks on real topics
Every night centers on a short, engaging talk exploring a big question about life and faith, from "Who is Jesus?" to "Why do we pray?" It's a simple springboard into a conversation you actually want to have.

About the Alpha course
Alpha covers the basics of Christianity, answering questions like who Jesus is and why he died. Over 11 weeks, guests gather each week to share refreshments, watch a short talk on how Christianity approaches that week's question, and then talk it over in a small group. The talks are a springboard for real conversation, and everyone explores at their own pace in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
