ANTHEM CHURCH
YOUNG ADULTS

College & Young Adults

Faith was never meant to be a solo thing. Our Young Adults Ministry is for anyone roughly 18 to 30, whether you're a college student, just starting your career, newly married, or somewhere in between, with groups built around your season of life so you find people who actually get what you're going through. We're only about 15 minutes from the University of Florida and Santa Fe College, and there's already a place that actually feels like home.

A home away from home here at Anthem Church.

Whether you're in college, starting your career, newly married, or figuring out what's next, we believe life is better together. Our Young Adults Ministry is a place to build real friendships and grow in your faith alongside people in the same season of life. Here are three easy ways to get connected.

Three Ways to Get Plugged In!

Join Us On Sunday Mornings

Come hang with the whole Anthem family at 9:15 & 11:00 AM on a Sunday. It's about an hour, no pressure, and it's the easiest first step to start putting faces to names.

College Nights

College-age young adults meet at Anthem for small groups on Wednesday evenings, led and fed by married couples who love investing in your season of life. It's the quickest way to go from new-in-town to knowing you've got people. New groups kick off every September.

Young Adult Groups

Young adults 23 to 30ish meet at a home close to campus, usually around a home-cooked meal, led by people who really care. It's the quickest way to go from new-in-town to knowing you've got people. New groups kick off every September.

Questions about College Ministry at Anthem?

Does Anthem Church have a separate service just for young adults?
Anthem Church doesn't currently run a separate young adults service. Instead, the focus is on helping young adults build real community through small groups, serving on a team, and Sunday mornings, where you'll connect with other young adults while becoming part of the life of the whole church.
I just moved to Gainesville. Where should I start at Anthem Church?
A great first step is coming to hang out with the whole church family on a Sunday at 9:15 & 11:00 AM, then filling out the interest form to join a young adults group. That combination is the quickest path to finding your people, and the Anthem team will take it from there.
When and where do the young adult groups meet?
Young adults 18–22 meet at Anthem for small groups on Wednesday evenings, and young adults 23–30ish meet at a home close to campus. New groups launch every September, and most groups share a meal together, so you get good conversation along with good food.
Who leads the young adult groups?
Groups are led by caring leaders who keep things welcoming and real, sometimes an adult couple and sometimes people around your own age. Each group usually has 8 to 12 people who are in the same season of life as you.
Is there anything specifically for college students at Anthem Church?
Yes. College students get their own groups alongside students from UF and Santa Fe College who are in the same stage of life, dealing with the same classes, roommates, and figuring-life-out moments. It's an easy way to find friends who actually understand your week.
Do I have to be a college student to join Anthem's Young Adults Ministry?
Not at all. Whether you're in college, just starting your career, or still figuring out what's next, there's a place for you at Anthem Church. The path is the same three steps for everyone: come on a Sunday, join a group, and serve on a team.
What ages is Young Adults for?
Young Adults is generally for anyone around 18 to 30, though it's really more about the season of life you're in than a strict age cutoff. College students, young professionals, newlyweds, and young parents are all welcome, and there's a group for wherever you fit.
Are there different groups for different seasons of life?
Yes. Instead of lumping every 18 to 30 year old into one group, we organize groups around where you actually are, whether that's college, single and starting a career, newly married, or raising little ones. That way you're doing life with people who get it.
How far is Anthem Church from the University of Florida and Santa Fe College?
Anthem Church is only about 15 minutes from both the University of Florida and Santa Fe College. That makes it an easy trip whether you're heading over for a Sunday morning service or a weeknight group.
