Alpha Marriage Course
A practical, relationship-strengthening experience for couples at any stage. Married one year or fifty.
What Is The Marriage Course?
The Alpha Marriage Course is a practical, relationship-strengthening experience designed to help couples invest in their marriage, whether they have been together for one year or fifty.
Through engaging video sessions and guided private conversations, couples explore topics like communication, resolving conflict, forgiveness, family, intimacy, and building a lasting connection.
The course is for all couples, not just those experiencing challenges, and provides a safe, encouraging environment to grow together.

What each session looks like
No small groups, no sharing your relationship with strangers. Just the two of you and a meal.
Dinner together
Every session starts with a candlelit meal for just the two of you. There's no group setting and no pressure to perform, this is time set aside for your relationship, in a room full of other couples doing the same.
A short, engaging talk
After dinner, a video segment walks through that session's topic, communication, conflict, forgiveness, family, intimacy, and more, drawing on decades of research and real marriages.
A private conversation
Each session closes with guided discussion questions for just the two of you to talk through, at your own table, in your own words. Nothing is shared with the group unless you choose to.
The Alpha Marriage Sessions
Each session builds on the last, covering the topics every marriage needs to talk through.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Alpha Marriage Course at Anthem Church only for marriages in trouble?
Not at all. The Marriage Course is for every couple, whether things are great, hard, or somewhere in between, and it's designed for couples married one year or fifty. Think of it as an investment in your marriage rather than a repair shop for one that's broken.

No, each session includes a private conversation just between you and your spouse at your own table. Nothing you discuss is shared with the wider group unless you choose to share it yourselves.
Do we need to attend a small group as part of the Marriage Course?
No small groups are involved in the Marriage Course. You and your spouse sit together as a couple for the entire evening, starting with dinner and ending with a private conversation just between the two of you.
How long is the Marriage Course at Anthem Church?
The Marriage Course runs seven sessions, with each one covering a different topic essential to a healthy marriage, like communication, conflict, forgiveness, family, and intimacy.
