Who can attend Flourish at Anthem Church?
Flourish is Anthem's first-ever women's retreat, designed for women who are connected in a Community Group and/or serving on a team at Anthem. It's a day to connect with other women, be encouraged, and be equipped, no matter where you're starting from in your walk with God.
Can I invite a friend or someone who doesn't attend Anthem to Flourish?
Absolutely. Even though we're not promoting Flourish to our whole church, every invite is welcome. Bring a friend, a neighbor, or a family member, and we'll make sure she feels at home from the moment she arrives.
When is Flourish, and is it an overnight retreat?
Flourish is a one-day retreat, not a weekend away. It takes place Saturday, November 14, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at a beautiful farm in Trenton, FL, so you'll be home to sleep in your own bed that night.
What if I need financial help to attend Flourish?
We never want finances to keep a woman from attending. If you need financial assistance to be part of Flourish, please fill out this form, and someone from our staff will reach out to you personally. Your request is handled with care and kept confidential.
Will food be provided at Flourish?
Yes. We'll start the day with a lite breakfast, serve a delicious lunch catered by Off the Beat in Trenton, FL, and keep plenty of snacks and treats around all day long, so you can come ready to enjoy the day instead of worrying about meals.
Is there free time during the day, or is it all scheduled?
There's plenty of margin built in. Flourish includes a 2.5-hour free time where you choose your own adventure: make a craft, join a group movement session, catch up with friends, take a walk around the farm, or simply rest in God's creation.
Does the farm have restrooms and air conditioning?
Yes. The farm is also a wedding venue, so it has clean, permanent restrooms and air conditioning. You can enjoy the outdoors and still be comfortable.
How far is the farm from Gainesville?
