Man Camp

A weekend of off-the-grid, primitive camping for men 18 and older.
WHEN:
February 7-9, 2025
WHERE:
Seven Hills Farm, Trenton

UNPLUG. UNWIND. REIGNITE.

MAN CAMP isn't your typical weekend retreat. It’s a raw, off-the-grid, primitive camping experience designed for men who are ready to break free from the grind of daily life. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or a first-time camper, MAN CAMP will challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and reconnect—with nature, with other men, and with God.
This isn't a kumbaya-singing, sit-and-get kind of camp. It’s rugged. It’s real. And if you do it right, you’ll come home changed—and tired—in the best way possible.

WHY MAN CAMP?

We live in a world that numbs us with busyness and comfort. MAN CAMP is an antidote to that. It’s a chance to shake off the exhaustion, embrace adventure, and breathe life back into your lungs. It's like jumping in a sketchy van and hitting the road to freedom... except it’s the woods, and you're with a group of guys all looking to get real about life. Expect campfires, deep conversations, manual labor (because hard work is good for you), and maybe even a little whiskey by the fire.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

  1. Time in the woods with your crew.
  2. Challenging outdoor activities. Wood chopping, axe throwing—the kind of stuff that makes you feel alive.
  3. No phones, no distractions. You'll be encouraged to turn in your phones for the weekend.
  4. Teaching sessions that won’t bore you to death.
  5. Meals around a campfire—because everything tastes better cooked over flames.

WHO CAN COME?

MAN CAMP is for men aged 18 and up. That’s it. Whether you’ve been camping for decades or you don’t even own a tent (yet), this is for you. No experience necessary—just show up ready to unplug and get real.

WHAT WILL I TAKE HOME?

  • A deeper connection to God, and your fellow men.
  • The satisfaction of pushing yourself outside your comfort zone.
  • Stories you’ll be telling for years (some of which you probably shouldn’t).
  • A refreshed spirit and renewed sense of purpose.

FAQs

What if I’ve never camped before?
Perfect. MAN CAMP is a great way to ease into the whole "roughing it" thing. You’ll be with a group that has your back, whether you need gear or just moral support. Two nights in a tent won’t kill you, we promise.
What if it rains?
You’ll get wet. Water is wet. Plan accordingly. The weekend goes on rain or shine.
Can I bring my phone?
Sure—but we’ll be collecting them after orientation. If you want to keep yours, go for it. Just know you’re missing the point.
What about food?
We’ve got dinner covered Friday night and lunch on Saturday. Other than that, you're responsible for bringing your own. Pack food that doesn’t need refrigeration—Clif Bars, jerky, cheese, crackers. Or go as fancy as you want. You're an adult. Just...don’t be the guy who shows up with a box of cold chicken wings and calls it good.
Will there be alcohol?
Probably. It’s certainly not the focus, but if you want a beer or some whiskey by the fire, it’s welcome. Just know your limits. We will hold each other accountable to stay sober-minded—so don’t make it weird.
What if I have to leave early?
Don’t. This is a communal experience. Be here for the whole weekend.

READY?

MAN CAMP isn’t for everyone. But if you’re ready to unplug, get uncomfortable, and get real—then it’s exactly what you need. We’ll see you in the woods.
