Where little ones feel right at home. Every Sunday during both services, babies through Pre-K get their own space in the Family Ministry building. They start in a small group, circled up with kids their own age and a familiar leader, then move to a big group full of songs, a monthly memory verse, and a hands-on Bible story made just for them.

What To Expect On Sundays!
Check in
Stop by check-in and type your phone number in to print a name tag for your child and a matching one for you, then walk you right to the room.
Small group
Your child circles up with the same age group and the same leader each week, so they feel safe, seen, and known.
Large group
Songs, a memory verse, and a simple Bible story, plus plenty of play, crafts, and snacks along the way.
Safety is our top priority, so you can relax.
Handing off your little one takes trust, and we don't take that lightly. Every part of the morning is built to keep them safe, so you can relax knowing they're in great hands.

What ages is Waumba Land at Anthem Church for?
Waumba Land is Anthem Church's preschool environment for babies through Pre-K, welcoming kids from 6 weeks old up through Kindergarten age. Once a child starts Kindergarten, they move up to the elementary environment, UpStreet.
Where do I check my child in for Waumba Land?
Head to the Anthem Kids check-in area when you arrive on Sunday, and type your phone number in to print a name tag for your child and a matching one for you. From there we'll walk you to their room in the Family Ministry building. Check-in opens 15 minutes before each service.
What happens if my child cries or needs me during Waumba Land?
That's completely normal, especially the first few times. If your little one needs you, our team will text the phone number listed on your name tag so you can come right back and help them settle in.
Are Waumba Land volunteers background checked?
Yes, every single volunteer 18+ is background-checked before they're ever allowed into a room with kids. Check-in is also secure with a tag-matching system, so only an approved adult can pick your child up.
Do I need to bring diapers or snacks for Waumba Land?
Please pack a labeled bag with anything your child might need, such as diapers, wipes, or a bottle. Our team provides a simple snack in our toddler room, so just let us know at check-in about any allergies. We do not provide snacks in our 2+ rooms.
What if my child has allergies or special needs?
Just let our Waumba Land team know when you check in, and they'll make sure your child's needs are taken care of. We want every child to feel safe and fully included, and we're always happy to help however we can.
