2025 Annual Impact Report
What you'll read here isn't just a recap of 2025. It's a testimony of what happens when a church chooses to trust God boldly and give generously. Every baptism, every step of discipleship, every story of healing and hope carries your fingerprints.
Because of you, people have experienced the Gospel in fresh ways. Families have been strengthened. Students have discovered purpose. Neighbors have found belonging. And countless individuals have taken steps toward Jesus, because someone like you made space for them.
Thank you for sacrificing for our mission of inspiring and equipping people to follow Jesus. Thank you for trusting God with open hands and open hearts. The best is still ahead.

The year in numbers
In May we launched Worth Following, walking through Psalm 23. During that series alone, 43 people decided to follow Jesus for the first time or recommit their lives to Him. More than ever, people are gathering, wrestling with truth, and responding.
That's 16 more than the year before. Every baptism is a life going public with the decision to follow Jesus, including eight in a single Sunday as we closed out our Foundations series.
"My baptism is my public declaration that I belong to Him, my proclamation of gratitude for His mercy, grace, and reckless love."Jennifer Delgado · Baptized in 2025
596 kids & students
"As a high school student, fitting in is hard. But at InsideOut, you always have a place to be."Aidan Holway · 9th grade, InsideOut
A few days that change everything
For a student, a few days at camp are just as impactful as a year of Sunday mornings. This year you sent them, and funded 37 scholarships so nothing stood in the way.
"God isn't a distant God, he's very close and near. He's so much closer to me than I actually think he is."Jurnee Reed · Senior, InsideOut Daytona
Across 25 groups, people traded sitting in rows for doing life in circles, being known, carrying each other's burdens, and growing in faith together all across our city.
"It was in the midst of doing life with this community of men that I began to slowly find myself again."Derrak Ostovic · Men's group leader
Loving Gainesville, out loud
"FOR" is more than a motto; it's the heartbeat of Anthem. Through Be Rich, Red Bag Sundays, and our new 4th Sunday initiative, your generosity flows past our church doors into the community in tangible, transformative ways.
Events that brought us closer
Jon Birkmire,
Lead Pastor
After a season of prayer and transition, we celebrated one of the most significant moments in Anthem's history, announcing Jon Birkmire as our Lead Pastor. Jon carries our mission forward: to inspire and equip people to follow Jesus. Since he stepped in, we've experienced more live teaching than ever in Anthem's history, and a growing hunger to gather in person and hear from God together.
Discipleship
Ending the year well
God has blessed us this year. Every metric we track trended in a positive direction. Through Onward Together, we paid off and settled more than $500,000 in debt.
2026 budget · $1.18 million
Imagine 2026
To fulfill our mission, we must move beyond simply inspiring people on Sunday and focus on equipping every person to grow into a mature, resilient follower of Christ, disciples who make disciples. God is ready to do something truly beyond our wildest dreams in 2026.
That God would grow our influence and opportunity for people looking for healing and hope.
That God would provide for our church financially in the new year, especially with the coming mortgage increase.
That God would give our whole church an ever-heavier burden to reach those who are far from Him.
