The entire InsideOut family is packing up and going to Daytona Beach this summer! Everyone will be there—all four grades at all of our partner churches! At this five-day beach retreat, students will be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to live out their faith in practical ways. Sessions include engaging worship and communicators who set students up for powerful conversations in their small groups. When you add in the pool and the beach, this camp is hard to beat!

What is the gathering protocol?

Students, leaders, and staff will have their temperatures taken at check-in before leaving for Daytona Beach and asked to wear masks when possible. They will sit with their small groups throughout the week for meals and sessions. InsideOut Daytona attendees will be required to abide by any COVID-19 restrictions the Ocean Center has in place.

What does the price include?

Lunch and dinner in Daytona Beach and lunch on travel days, transportation, beachfront lodging, production costs, an event T-shirt, and bottled water for the entire week.

Where will my student be staying?

Hotel rooms with their small group at either:
Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort: 100 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32118

The Plaza Resort and Spa: 600 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32118

What's the dress code?

Tops must have straps and be full-length. Shorts and dresses should be an appropriate length. Students must be fully clothed at meals and sessions (tops, bottoms, and shoes).

How will my student get to Daytona?

15 passanger vans

What kind of bathing suits can students wear?

Full-coverage one piece bathing suits for girls.
Full-length, loose-fitting swim trunks for guys.

What if my student has food allergies?

Please indicate any allergies in your student’s registration. We will do our best to accommodate your student’s food allergies for lunch and dinner. There will be snacks and additional food available for purchase at the hotel. Each room has a mini refrigerator to store food if needed.

How do I cancel my student's registration?

Cancellations must be sent in writing via email to InsideOut's logistics coordinator and confirmed with a response email. Cancellations made before July 5 will receive a 100 percent refund. Cancellations made on or after July 6 (except for COVID-19 exposure) will receive no refund of any kind.

COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES

Masks

Masks are required for all indoor gatherings. We will have extra masks available.

Temperature Checks

Students, volunteers, and staff will have their temperatures taken at check-in prior to leaving for InsideOut Daytona.

Social Distancing

Small groups will be assigned a spot for sessions, small group time, and meals.

Symptoms

If a student, leader, or staff member develops a fever of 100 degrees or higher or is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, they will be quarantined immediately and tested for COVID-19.

Exposure Prior to Event

If your student has been exposed to anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask they refrain from attending InsideOut Daytona. We will issue a full refund.
